Private Pilot License
The minimum time required by the FAA is 40 hours flight.
There is a required 20 hours of dual and 20 hours of solo time.
There is a charge of $40.00 an hour for flight instruction.
The above estimates are based on the minimum time required by the FAA. Everyone learns at a different pace and it generally takes more than the minimum number of hours in order to attain a license or rating.
